I'm Naya Clark, a writer, editor, and content creator. I am a proud Georgia State University Alumn, from where I graduated with my Bachelors in Journalism, and a minor in English. From my experience in publishing, and various freelance opportunities, I have come to appreciate well-written content. I pay close detail to my writing, especially in using different voices for various clients. I am able to deliver fast, yet detail-oriented work within a reasonable deadline.
From my background as an assistant editor, managing editor, and staff writer for a multitude of publications and organizations, I have practiced and executed successful content that is sure to keep audiences interested and informed. I look forward to putting my skills to use by working with you. ​

As a freelance content writer. I spend much of my time writing and editing pitches and working closely with editors of various publications. In addition to article and content writing, I edit and proofread my content to make it fit best to the outlet I'm commissioned for, whether it's for social media, a specialized blog, or full length articles.

The Bakery is a DIY community arts venue, gallery, and workspace located in the West End. Here, I respond to email inquiries, schedule, plan, and manage events, update calendars, and give tours. I get to speak with local and touring visual artists, bands, musicians, volunteers, patrons, and instructors on a daily basis about ways they can be involved at The Bakery.

Editorial Assistant // Urban Ivy
Urban Ivy is a new publisher, using powerful content to promote meaningful dialogue. Here, I work closely with the Creative Director and Editor-at-Large to define and execute Urban Ivy publications. I'm responsible for reading and accepting poetry and narrative submissions, editing submissions to taper them to the overall voice and feel of Urban Ivy, and managing Urban Ivy's social media. I'm also responsible for conducting any necessary research to improve the outreach and logistics of Urban Ivy

Interests
One important thing to know about me is that I love interviewing. Often times I interview visual artists, musicians, and other writers, but I am open to interviewing many people from all walks of life. In addition to DIY arts, underground culture, nontraditional literature, I also have a lifetime passion in couture fashion and individual style.
